Paper covered bunched Aluminium / Copper cables

Paper covered bunched Aluminium / Copper cables are flexible conductors made of multiple stranded copper wires tightly wrapped (bunched) together and insulated with layers of special paper (like Kraft or Nomex) for high-voltage, high-temperature applications, mainly in oil-filled transformers, welding machines, and other heavy electrical equipment, offering superior flexibility, current capacity, and reliability.

Stranded cable consists of multiple strands of wires wrapped around each other in each conductor. Stranded cable is much more flexible and consequently suited to applications which demand flexibility and reshaping. Due to higher attenuation, stranded cable is better used over shorter distances.

Bunching is a high speed operation that allows for large number of ends to be assembled quickly by wrapping ends together, commonly in a non-planetary operation. In a bunch each end has no definite place to occupy in the final construction, as a result ends can (and will) shift and float freely.
